Blessing Offor San Antonio Concert reviews
Very Impressive Show!
"I don't write reviews very often, but I go to a lot of concerts (20 plus a year). Blessing Offor still sounds phenomenal! WOW, all I can say. It's hard to fathom that he's 67 years old (I had to google it). He has one of the best voices of all time, IMHO, and it hasn't changed a bit with age. The entire band and backing vocals where top notch as well. Not just because of all the great "old" songs/memories but the performance itself, this show was like stepping into a time machine for me. There was no opening act. He started on time, took a short intermission, played 2 encore sets, and the entire emphasis was on the music (no video screens or elaborate light show). Blessing Offor played like 25 career spanning songs over 3 hours!!! I'm not opposed to either BTW but it just depends on the performer and setting. Just go listen to a greatest hits compilation on Spotify or whatever instead if he didn’t play all of his hit songs. As always some people will complain. Listen with open ears and an open mind if you're truly a fan of music. Blessing Offor is still creating excellent new music. Highly recommended! Enough of my soapbox, just go see this show if you if like his music."
